Today we had a clean-up of The Bishopbird Park by alien plants and also cleaned the water channel next to Bishopbird Street in Rooihuiskraal- North.
We had 21 Volunteers from the corporate Company Mar. 3 Volunteers from Cornwall School and 1 from Irene. 2 grey headed ,”youngsters” from the ward
In addition, the city provided resources in the form of equipment and officials.
Today we did not pick bags but cleaned out 3 truck loads of alien plants.
A big shout out to Tarryn from the Hennops Revival NPO and her team, without them today would not have been a reality. It’s a privilege to work with you.
